Renewable Energy Mayo offers a free advisory service that can help identify optimum microgeneration solutions for renewable energy by integrating with and enhancing existing advisory services. We are your first port of call if you have an interest in converting from traditional energy generation to renewable energy.
We are a not-for-profit organisation whose aim is to support the sustainable economic, environmental and social vitality of communities across County Mayo through the benefits that renewable energy affords.
We are not alone in this venture. Renewable Energy Mayo is an extension of the European project called SMALLEST which is funded by the Northern Periphery Programme. SMALLEST supports small rural communities throughout the northern peripheral region of Europe to adopt renewable energy solutions. Therefore we have the benefit of the knowledge, expertise and experiences of partner organisations from various regions across northern Europe.
